About the beta
Thanks for your interest in Sliderflow! Just a heads-up: it’s currently in beta, which means it’s still an experimental tool that might have some rough edges. We’re doing our best to make it work smoothly, but hopefully it goes without saying that you could potentially run into unexpected issues along the way. Think of it as a work-in-progress that we’re refining together, and be aware that using it right now carries the same uncertainties of any beta software.
Our main goal is to simplify how Webflow and Swiper.js work together, and there are definitely some tricky limitations to deal with. That’s why we’re calling this a beta—it may not be perfectly polished yet, but we know it will make your life easier even now, straight out of the gate. If enough people find it useful and share their experiences, we’ll keep improving it until we can remove the beta tag and slap the coveted 1.0 designation on top of it.
That said, we appreciate you taking a chance on it, and helping us improve! If it puts your mind at ease, it's already been thoroughly tested and running on a large handful of live sites. So far, so good!
While there are other slider solutions out in the open market, many are just too darned expensive. Or, there are plenty of free ones, but they take so much finessing. To strike the right balance, we have decided to set the price super low, but at the same time, to cover our costs. It's not cheap to develop, host, and maintain software! The small fee we are charging helps to cover our basic costs and keeps the project alive. If you decide to grab it, we hope you’ll understand that we’re not in a position to promise it will be 100% perfect. We just want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to take advantage of what Sliderflow can do without charging a fortune, while also setting realistic expectations along the way.
As for help and support, we sadly cannot provide it for free at this time. If you need assistance with Sliderflow installation or want specialized customizations, we offer separate paid services that you may be interested in: The Installation Service, and the Concierge Customization Service. While we cannot respond to everyone who may need help, we’d love to hear about any bugs you find or any feedback you might have—that really helps us shape Sliderflow into something better for you, and everyone using it! Your input is incredibly valuable to us. You can send us your thoughts and feedback on our Contact page.
One last thing. When we talk about “lifetime access,” that means that Sliderflow lasts as long as it stays profitable enough to cover things like hosting, membership software, marketing, code repositories, and the other tools required that keep it running. If it ever stops being viable or gets rendered obsolete by something else (like a native Webflow CMS slider, for example), there’s a chance Sliderflow would have to be gently but lovingly placed into retirement. If that happens, we’ll certainly do our best to make sure your existing sliders won’t break, and that Sliderflow sliders will stay alive on any existing sites you have installed it on.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, for your dedication to making the web a better place, and for supporting indie software development. We're looking very forward to seeing the cool sliders you make with Sliderflow!

The slider displayed in the Designer is a simulation that uses clever CSS tricks to render the layout and style in realtime, but it is not a pixel-perfect representation. To see that, you must publish the website to see the final product in action.
-
This simulation of the slider will not render correctly in Preview mode. It is a limitation of Webflow that CSS cannot detect the different between Preview mode and a Live Site. As such, you must publish the website to see the final product in action, or view the simulation in the Designer.
-
The slider will not function (such as animating, scrolling, moving to the next / previous slide, etc.) in the Designer, nor in Preview mode. It is a limitation of Webflow that Javascript cannot run in the Designer or in Preview mode.
-
There are no guarantees of performance, and there are no promises as to how the sliders will impact your site speed or Lighthouse scores. Sliderflow is designed with flexibility and ease-of-use in mind, and not to be the most lean option available (which would mean sacrificing features).
-
While many Webflow interactions work inside Swiper sliders, there are no promises as to which will function. Please note this, and test extensively before launch.
-
Marquees are not 100% smooth, and there is a very tiny, almost imperceptible pause each time a slide proceeds to the next. This is a limitation of swiper.js where the delay must be set to the lowest value, which is 1 ms.
-
Swiper.js utilizes class names for it's library javascript and css file. While it would be great to be able to change the class names in the Sliderflow bundles on a Webflow site, it is not recommended as it may interfere with swiper's functions.
